Deposits
Bookings made more than one week in advance require a deposit equivalent to 50% of the total accommodation cost (or minimum first night whichever is greater) to confirm the reservation, payable either by personal cheque which must clear prior to arrival, or via PayPal.
Bookings made less than one week in advance require a deposit equivalent to 100% of the total accommodation cost to confirm the reservation, payable either by personal cheque which must clear prior to arrival, or via PayPal. We only accept credit or debit card payments via PayPal; which method will incur an addtional 3% charge to cover 3rd party charges.
Balances
Accommodation cost balances are payable in full on arrival. either by personal cheque with a valid cheque gurantee card covering the full amount, or via PayPal. We only accept credit or debit card payments via PayPal; which method will incur an addtional 3% charge to cover 3rd party charges.
Cancellations
Because of the uncertainty involved in filling rooms at short notice, cancellations affect us significantly, which is why we ask guests to be certain that their plans are firm before booking. Please inform us immediately of a cancellation or change in plans as we can only reimburse a portion of your deposit or reduce your overall accommodation cost in accordance with the following policy:
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere within Linford Stables main house, annexe or stables. Smoking is only permitted in the garden and on the terraces. No open flames of any kind, including lit cigarettes or burning candles are allowed in the main house, annexe or stables. Evidence of smoking in any of the rooms or stables will result in an additional charge of £50 to cover additional cleaning and loss of revenue while the room is aired and the proprietor may also ask the guests involved to leave.
Damage
Damage occasioned by a guest to any property of Linford Stables will result in in an additional charge, either for replacement of the item or, if repairable, a charge equivalent to the cost of repair / cleaning and loss of revenue as a direct result of damage caused and the proprietor may also ask the guests involved to leave.
RESPONSIBILITY
ALL GUESTS ARE DEEMED TO HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPTED THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
